Annual Halloween Kids' Costume Exchange

Event Details

Looking for a way to recycle those old kid costumes and find some new inspiration? We have the answer! Trade in your old costumes for something different at our free Costume Exchange Event, now in its third year!*

How It Works: From September 9 to October 11 the County of Brant Public Library will be accepting clean gently used children’s Halloween costumes for the exchange.  When you drop off a costume for the exchange, you’ll receive a ticket which will allow you to come back to the Exchange Event and shop for a new costume for your child.  If your costume has props to go with it they need to be placed in a clear zip-top bag, labeled and attached to the costume.

When & Where: The Exchange Event will be held at the Paris Branch from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 14, 2017.  Ticket holders will be able to shop during this time.

Don’t Have a Costume to Exchange? From 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm the Exchange Event will be open to the public. Non-ticket holders will be asked to provide a food bank donation.

Got a Costume You Want to Donate? If you have children’s costumes you would like to donate but do not want a new one in exchange, we are happy to take them!  All left over costumes will be taken to the Thrift Store in Paris at the end of the day on October 14.

* We cannot guarantee sizes or selection at the Event.
