The outdoor-oriented will love the challenge! Cadets is a great way for youth to learn more about Canada, make new friends and develop life skills that will enable them to succeed no matter what career they choose. Cadets with 2659 Army Cadets discover how to camp, hike, trail ride, navigate in the bush, do military drill, explore military equipment, play sports and learn fitness, practicing outdoor survival, participate in parades, learn how to play the bagpipes or drums, and much, much more. Cadets learn skills such as communication, time management, teamwork, leadership, confidence, public speaking, organizational and interpersonal skills. We book comedians from all over Southwestern Ontario to meet all your comedy needs. Each night we have professional headliner, which alternates each Tuesday, between Comedian and a Musical Act. Club NV also has a Tuesday Special with a pound of wings for only $5.50 and $8.00 Mini Pitchers of beer, (plus you get to keep the Coors Light Glass). “TONI” GRETZKY IN WWI

Zig Misiak, a local historian and award winning author, will present his research of Toni Gretzky’s, the father of Walter and grandfather of Wayne, activities during World War I. Zig’s family lived less than one hundred kilometres from the Gretzky family in what would become Poland following the war. Walter will be present to share some of his recollections triggered by the research findings presented that evening. It will be an unusual and inspiring occasion to see how research can stimulate the oral histories captured in a family.
