The Brantford Kinsmen Annual Ribfest is now in its seventh year, this family-friendly festival is one of Brantford’s most anticipated summer events, welcoming more than 24, 000 people. Enjoy a weekend full of food, music and fun on August 5, 6 and 7, 2016 in Brantford’s beautiful Cockshutt Park. Savour mouth-watering ribs, hamburgers, slow-roasted corn, blooming onions and cool treats like ice cream and snow cones. The Molson Beer garden will be open daily, which is always the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the live music. Award-winning ribbers from all over North America will showcase their finest ribs and sauces. Teams are competing for this year’s title of “Best Ribs”. Sample each team’s special recipes and vote for your favourite. All proceeds from this event will support Brantford Kinsmen Club’s commitments to continuing support for local initiatives. While ribs take centre stage, there is a lot more to enjoy at the festival. Local bands will be performing all weekend as well as our headliners presented by the OLG.
