Cap off your summer by experiencing amazing aerial displays at the 2017 Charity Airshow in Brantford. This family-friendly event will offer additional entertainment and activities on the ground, including more aircraft on display, an autograph tent, aviation displays and vendors, a kids amusement area and food offerings. Bring your chairs and cameras out to the Brantford Municipal Airport and let your wings soar! Gates open 11am. Air Show begins at 2pm. The Airshow is a FREE event. Donations at the gate are appreciated. Parking is $15 per vehicle (Field parking, walking distance to show. Accessibility parking available) Dinner with the Pilots – Fundraising Event: On Tuesday, August 30th, attend an exciting fundraising dinner with the performers. If you have balance issues, arthritis, osteoporosis or haven’t been active in a while this class is for you. The instructor will guide you through a 1 hour class that will help you move your body safely and effectively. Modifications for different fitness levels are part of the class.

This workout focuses on cardiovascular and muscular enhancement for the aging adult. This one hour class involves movement, weights and overall body conditioning on and off the floor. Come move your body around the room in a unique way. Think outside the norm when you step into this class. We work various muscles in different ways. We use the walls too. Try your hand at a bean bag toss for warm-ups! Get the heart rate rolling with a little soldier walk around the room interrupted by a few sets of squats. Free weights are incorporated throughout the entire class. Whatever we do, we do it with style, a style you can call your own. Bring your water and your shoes let’s get our cardio on!

This program is part of the County of Brant Public Library's 2017 Creative Aging Series: "Life in Four Textures" Learn how to create still life pictures using four different techniques. Local visual artist Moira Ferguson will lead each class through a fun afternoon of socializing and learning new skills to finish a different project each day. Space is limited. Payment is required to confirm your registration in each workshop.REGISTER AT ANY COUNTY OF BRANT PUBLIC LIBRARY BRANCH. You must be an adult aged 55+ to participate. (Free transportation is available for those who qualify. But what begins as a fun tryst turns complicated when Benjamin falls for the one woman Mrs. Robinson demanded he stay away from, her daughter, Elaine (Katharine Ross).
